EXANTAS Institute started its operation on April 2012. It is based in Thessaloniki and its shareholders are the Hellenic Ports Association (95%) and the Federation of Employees of the Greek Ports (5%).
The Institute aims at providing certified training to port labour. It also aims at offering educational programs to employees involved in sectors related to the port industry, such as shipping, logistics,ship building zones etc. Since its establishment, the Institute has organised more than 30 seminars which have been attended by more than 500 employees of the Greek Ports. The Institute has also signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with the Thessaloniki Port Authority S.A. as a consultant in EU financed programs.
